More than 6 million Americans live with Alzheimer's disease and that number is growing. Education and awareness can help families seek care sooner and feel less alone in the journey. The North Texas Alzheimer's Disease Research Center (NT-ADRC) provides patients and caregivers with research opportunities and education resources to improve their understanding of Alzheimer's disease and related dementias.

Our team works to provide patients and their caregivers with the latest in medical therapy, nutrition, and ongoing brain scans and monitoring of symptoms to help patients and their families make decisions about upcoming healthcare and lifestyle concerns, such as when to stop driving and when to consider full-time care.

The Alzheimer’s Disease Center holds a monthly caregiver support group to help the families of our patients, as well as numerous outreach activities such as community seminars and conferences relating to brain health, Alzheimer’s disease, and research.
