Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART) Passes

Purchase Period Oct. 26-Nov. 13

The DART GoPass and Tap Card purchase period for 2027 begins Oct. 26 and ends Nov. 13. Purchases must be made via the Parking Portal under "Order Permits." Purchases made after 11:59 p.m., Nov. 13 could result in receiving access after Jan. 1, 2027.

What you need to do

Current users (including Tap Cards) who want to renew
No action is needed. GoPass and Tap Cards will automatically renew for 2027.
New this year: Keep your Tap Card.
Current users who do not want to renew
parkingservices@utsouthwestern.edu Parking Services and include your employee number by Nov. 6 to cancel your GoPass or Tap Card. Failure to cancel by this date will result in automatic renewal.
New users
Beginning Oct. 26, purchase a 2027 GoPass or TapCard through the Parking Portal by selecting “Order Permits.” Complete purchase by Nov. 6 to ensure access by Jan. 1, 2027.

UT Southwestern provides a DART pass subsidy for employees and students, based on employment status and the type of pass purchased.

Up to 85% off the standard retail price for full-time employees
Up to 90% off the standard retail price for students
Part-time employees can purchase a pass at Level C rates (see table)

UT Southwestern assumes no liability for lost passes and will issue no refunds. Full payment is required.
Pass is not transferable.
Pass is nonreturnable and nonrefundable.
Pass type may be upgraded, if needed.
Pass-type downgrade is not possible.
